I am currently working on the details for this years charity event. It's our 5th one! I am so glad that this has grown each year!
The theme again is Long Island Breweries, Wineries, and Restaurants for Long Island Charities. Or, Long Islanders Helping Long Islanders! The Charities are Camp Pa-Qua Tuck - http://camppaquatuck.com/ The Lighthouse Mission - http://www.lighthousemissi and three scholarships at the High School, that I am in charge of selecting the students. This is to make sure that they go to kids who are deserving, and really can use the help. If attendance sets records this year, I will add another charity! We have many commitments so far, and as the list grows, more info will be put on this page. Many pro's and those hoping to go pro are already on board. This year we are adding a new twist. CASK BEER!!!!!! Not everyone will be able to bring a cask, but many have already committed! I am so psyched about this! Next week, or maybe even later this week, I will begin posting the participants. The goal is to have ALL of Long Islands Breweries, both pro and those waiting to go pro, on hand. Brooklyn to the tips of the forks! It is always a great time for some great causes, and an opportunity to expand your horizons. Of course there will be great local music on tap as well!
